 From December 8 to 10, the 2018-2019 National Quality Engineering Awards Commendation Awards and China Construction Engineering Luban Award (National Quality Engineering) Commendation Conference were held in Beijing successively. The meeting commended the winning units that won these two awards. The Nanchang City Honggu Tunnel Project undertaken by China Railway Tunnel Group No.2 Co. LTD won both the National Quality Engineering Gold Award and the China Construction Engineering Luban Award. In addition, the Qiansanmen tunnel of the Beijing Station to Beijing West Railway Station underground diameter line project, the Guanjiao tunnel project of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway Xige Line 2 and the first phase of the Zhengzhou Rail Transit Line 2 project won the National Quality Engineering Award; The West Qinling Tunnel Project of Chongqing Railway and Shenzhen City Rail Transit

The Luban Award was founded in 1987 and is the highest honorable award for engineering quality in the domestic construction industry. Because of its small number of indicators, and a certain elimination rate, the gold content is very high, the industry calls it the "Oscar" of the Chinese construction industry.

The National Quality Engineering Award is the earliest and highest-standard national honorary award established in the engineering construction industry and the highest honor in engineering construction quality in China. The selection scope covers various industries in the fields of construction such as construction, railway, highway, chemical industry, metallurgy, and electric power. The National Quality Engineering Award is based on the national excellence spirit of "pursuing excellence and creating classics". It also represents the leading level of domestic quality in the same industry. The gold award selection is the best among the best (only more than 10 items nationwide each year). It is extremely difficult to win this award.

The Zhan Tianyou Award is the highest honor in Chinese civil engineering industry. It aims to reward and commend outstanding civil engineering construction projects that have made outstanding achievements in scientific and technological innovation and application of science and technology. The annual selection of award-winning projects generally does not exceed 30. It is called “ The Nobel Prize” in the Chinese architectural industry.

 

NO.1  The Honggu Tunnel Project in Nanchang City

 

The Honggu Tunnel Project in Nanchang City is located between Nanchang Bridge and Bayi Bridge (1.4km from Nanchang Bridge and 2.3km from Bayi Bridge). It is a two-way six-lane crossing channel connecting Honggutan New Town and East Bank Old Town. The immersed tube tunnel built in the water area with the largest water level change in the world is also the first inland immersed tube tunnel in China with the longest immersed tube length.

 

The project won the Luban Award for National Construction Engineering (National Quality Project), the National Gold Award for Quality Project, and the Zhan Tianyou Award. It was awarded the first improvement prize for scientific and technological progress in Tianjin, Jiangxi Province, and Zhongshi Enterprise Association, and won 24 invention patents and 45 utility model patents. 2 software copyrights, 19 provincial engineering methods, 1 landmark, 1 academic work, and 11 QC achievement awards, won many honors and awarded as the first-class achievements of green construction (design) by the Zhongshi Enterprise Association and the demonstration project of new technology application. The high starting point planning, high level design, and high quality construction of the project have created a tunnel that leads the development of the city, a tunnel of ecological landscape, a tunnel led by technology, a tunnel of harmony and intelligence, a tunnel that is close to the people, and a tunnel that blends into the world.

 

NO.2 The West Qinling Tunnel of the Lan-Yu Railway

The West Qinling Tunnel of the Lan-Yu Railway is located in Wudu District, Longnan City, Gansu Province. It is adjacent to the three provinces and belongs to the National Railway Class I dual-line electrified passenger and freight railway, with a design speed of 200km/h. The total length of the tunnel is 28.236km, which is the longest tunnel on the whole line of the Lanyu Railway. It is also the railway tunnel with the largest TBM construction diameter (φ=10.23m), the longest digging distance (20 km single heading), and the fastest speed.

The project won the National Railway Quality Engineering Award, Luban Award, Gansu Province Science and Technology Progress Second Prize, and formed 5 invention patents, 17 utility model patents, and 3 provincial engineering methods.

 


NO.3 From Beijing Railway Station to Beijing West Railway Station Qiansanmen Tunnel of Underground Diameter Line Project

The Beijing Railway Underground Diameter Line is a railway line connecting Beijing Station to Beijing West Railway Station, with a total length of 9156m, of which the tunnel part is Qiansanmen Tunnel with a total length of 7285m, including shield tunnel 5175m. The design life is 100 years.


The project won the Railway Quality Engineering Award, the Beijing Great Wall Cup Gold Award, the provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological progress awards 2 (Beijing, Henan Province), the China Construction Enterprise Management Association Science and Technology Innovation Achievement Award 2 (2014, 2015), 3 national-level construction methods, 1 provincial-level construction method, 6 utility model patents, 5 invention patents, 1 software copyright patent, and 10 QC achievement awards such 10 more awards.


NO.4 Guanjiao Tunnel Project of Xige Second Line Qinghai-Tibet Railway

The Qinghai-Tibet Railway Guanjiao Tunnel has a total length of 32.690km. Currently, it is the first long-high-altitude tunnel of the world and the longest operating railway tunnel in China. The tunnel is located in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau with an average altitude of 3600m and is the world’s longest high-altitude tunnel.

 

The project overcomes the construction difficulties such as harsh construction environment, extremely complex geological conditions, and high-risk construction and operation risks. The project won the International Engineering Association (ITA) Major Engineering Award (2016), FIDIC (FIDIC) Global Excellent Engineering Award (2016), National Quality Engineering Award, Zhan Tianyou Award, won the Qinghai Province, China Railway Society and other provincial science and technology 6 awards, 1 national engineering method, 7 patents, 4 QC achievements.

 


NO.5 Changsha City Yingpan Road Xiangjiang Tunnel Project

The Changsha City Yingpan Road Xiangjiang Tunnel Project is the first highway tunnel across the Xiang River in Changsha City. It is located between the Yinpenling Bridge and the Juzizhou Bridge. The east connection road is Yingpan Road and the west connection road is Xianjiahu Road.

The project won the National Quality Engineering Award, Zhan Tianyou Award, the National Science and Technology Progress Second Prize, 1 national-level engineering method, 4 provincial and ministerial-level engineering methods, 3 invention patents, 6 utility model patent certificates, 1 software copyright, 2 QC achievement awards.

 

NO.6 Shenzhen City Rail Transit Line 11 Project


 

Shenzhen City Rail Transit Line 11 is a group express line and an airport express line running through the Midwest in the Shenzhen rail transit network, starting from Futian Transportation Hub in the east, passing through the Shenzhen Bay Super Headquarters Base, Houhai Center, Qianhai Free Trade Zone, Baoan center and Konggang such core areas of the city, connecting to the four comprehensive transportation hubs of airport, Qianhai, Chegongmiao and Futian. The terminal Bitou Station is planned to connect with Dongguan Rail Transit.
Through the efforts of the project construction personnel, the bidding section successfully completed the requirements of the through node under the unfavorable situation of lagging 4 months after the departure, and the quality of the segment assembly as the benchmark for the entire line. The project won the 2018 China Construction Engineering Luban Award, the 17th China Civil Engineering Zhan Tianyou Award, the Guangdong Hometown Cup Zhan Tianyou Award; the project has been awarded AAA Safe Production and Civilization Demonstration Site in Guangdong Province, and National AAA Safety Civilization Standardization Construction site, national construction industry green construction demonstration project and many other honors.

 

 

NO.7 Nanchang Rail Transit Line 1 Phase 1 Project


Nanchang Rail Transit Line 1 is a national key construction project during the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, a large-scale urban infrastructure construction project in Jiangxi Province, with a total length of 28.8km and 24 underground stations. 

 

Nanchang Rail Transit Line 1 Fourth Mark built by China Railway Tunnel Group No.2 Co. LTD is located in the central area of ​​Honggutan, starting at Weidong Station (excluding) and ending at Tengwangge Station (excluding), including Metro Building Station, Qiushui Square Station and Third The construction of several interval tunnels.

 

The project won the National Quality Engineering Gold Award, Jiangxi Province Quality Engineering Construction Rhododendron Award, Nanchang Construction Quality Construction Engineering Award, the corresponding achievements won the Hebei Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, obtained 4 utility model patents, and 1 national and provincial QC achievement awards .

 

NO.8 Zhengzhou Rail Transit Line 2 Phase 1 Project


Zhengzhou Rail Transit Line 2 Phase 1 Project is a north-south diameter line that runs through the city center. It intersects with Line 1 to form the "ten" shape skeleton of the main urban area's north-south and east-west rail transits. It is the central axis of the urban area's north-south expansion Through the central urban area of Zhengzhou, it is a relatively mature administrative office, commercial finance, and residential concentrated area. The total length of the line is 20.655km. Its construction greatly facilitates the travel of citizens, and improves the quality of the city, improves the function of the city, and promotes Urban development plays an important role.

 

Zhengzhou Metro Line 2 Work Zone 02 that China Railway Tunnel Group No.2 Co. LTD participated in the construction, includes two stations (Agricultural Road Station and Huanghe Road Station). The project won the National Quality Engineering Award, Henan Construction Engineering "Zhongzhou Ping An Cup" award, Henan Science and Technology Progress First Prize, Second Prize, and Provincial QC Achievement Award.
