【Singapore News】Singapore C885 Project Successfully Resumed Tunneling Work!

At 11:36 on 27 June (Singapore time), as the TBM operator pressed the start button, CRTG Singapore C885 project Successfully resumed tunneling work after more than two months of the circuit breaker measures for COVID-19. CRTG Singapore Branch has also become one of the earliest construction companies of Circle Line 6 approved by the government to resume work since the project was suspended on 7 April.

Since the beginning of this year, Coronavirus pneumonia epidemic has been heating up in singapore. On 7 February, the Singapore government raised the response level of the disease outbreak response system from yellow to orange which only below the highest red level. On 3 July, a total of 44,479 cases had been diagnosed. Statistics from relevant institutions show that the Singapore Epidemic Index has always been at the forefront of all overseas countries. Under this extremely unfavorable condition, Project C885 management office focused on epidemic prevention and contract performance under the guidance of the CRTG and CREC. Although faced with numerous difficulties, all our staffs will unite to do a good job in the prevention and control of the epidemic situation and promote the work of resuming production.
