【Israel News】The First “RETURNING” Chartered Flight of Chinese Enterprises in Israel Arrived in Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv News  On the morning of the 20th, July (local time), 81 employees of both Eastern and Western Segment of Tel Aviv Red Line Metro Project, taking a chartered flight by Chinese enterprises in Israel, arrived in Tel Aviv. They are the first wave of their peer returning to work and production in Israel.

 

Due to the Israeli containing measures, entry restrictions and flight adjustments caused by the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic since the beginning of the year, nearly 100 employees of the CRTG and CREEG (ABB:China Railway Electrification Engineering Group Co., LTD) who were on the Spring Festival vocation, were detained at home. Consequently, the project progress has been partly hindered.

 

Under the guidance of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Israel, this HNA chartered flight is first of its kind to successfully arrange and facilitate the resumption of work and production. In so doing, valuable experience is learned for other Chinese enterprises to follow suits. Upon completion of the 14-day quarantine as stipulated by Israeli Ministry of Health,all employees will fully devote themselves to the construction of the Tel Aviv Red Line Metro Project.

 

The Tel Aviv Red Line Metro Project is the first light rail line to be constructed in the greater Tel Aviv area. It is a platform for the Israeli Ministry of Transportation to display its construction achievements.The progress of the project is of national concern, and its historical and strategic significance is very outstanding and far-reaching.
