Shenzhen - Zhongshan Channel is an important traffic link connecting the three areas of Guangdong free trade zone and the Pearl River Delta. It is a sea area project attracting worldwide attention in the Greater Bay area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. The total length is 24.03km, including 6.8km long immersed tunnel, The design speed of deep middle channel is 100km/h. The East artificial island and main line weir construction section of Shenzhong channel are located in the south of Shenzhen Bao'an airport, close to Fuyong wharf. The west end of weir construction section is connected with immersed tunnel, and the construction scheme of "double row steel sheet pile + backfill sand + water stop curtain" is adopted.
The weir construction section of the project is the transition intersection of underwater interchange and immersed tunnel in the island, with a total length of 480m, the maximum width and depth of foundation excavation is 73m and 20.43m, the maximum thickness of bottom plate, side wall and top plate is 2.7m, and the maximum span of structure is 31m. It has the characteristics of "super width, super depth and large structural thickness". The bottom plate is divided into 26 structural sections, which are constructed in a smooth way, Sectional flow operation and safety control are the key and difficult points of floor construction. The foundation construction of weir construction section is one of the key milestone of the whole line construction, and its implementation is the precondition to ensure that the connection of immersed pipe E32 is provided on schedule.
