Lima, Peru News  9th Apr. 2019, Jorge Muñoz, the mayor of Lima, inspected the “Green Coast” Project which undertaken by China Railway Tunnel Group Joint Venture, and delivered 100-day inaugural speech. The manager of CRTG Sucursal del PERU accompanied the entire inspection and reported the progress of the project.

9th Apr. 2019 is the 100 days after Lima mayor Jorge Muñoz assumed office, the mayor choose at Green Coast” Project which undertaken by China Railway Tunnel Group Joint Venture to delivered his 100-day inaugural speech in this special day. With the theme of “The 50 years of Lima future”, the mayor introduced the orientation of Lima’s future city development, as well as from the planning of Lima’s city security, transportation, anti-corruption, environmental protection and sustainable development, city order, and especially introduced 30 projects that are ongoing and planned to undertake in the future. The “Green Coast” Project is one of the most important projects, and it is going well now.

After speech, the mayor inspected the project construction area and listened to the project’s team report on the implementation and progress of the project, and had interview with the media.

 The “Green Coast” Project is a supporting project for the Pan American games, CRTG Joint Venture won the bid in Sep. 2018. The project is extension of the existing coastal highway in Lima and it has great significance to improving the transportation of Lima and Pan American games. Now the project is going well and some sections will be opened before the Pan American games.
