【Israel News】All tunnels of Tel Aviv Light Rail Red Line completed by Chinese company run through.

Jerusalem, Feb. 24（Xinhua Chen Wenxian, Shanghao） -- With the "Fuxing" TBM breaking through the ground and the "Zhengyi" TBM arriving the destination, 9 TBM tunnels of the Red Line of Tel Aviv Light Rail Line were completed by CRTG as the general contractor of construction and design.

The general manager of CRTG Israel Branch, Gu Zonghua told to the reporter, this means that all the tunnels of the first underground rail transit line in the Israel traffic history were successfully completed.

According to Gu ZongHua, Tel Aviv Light Rail Red Line used 6 TBMs which specially design by Chinese company. In the process of construction, TBM through the highway, railway, river, bridge and danger old building, and completed the large Angle across the station and many difficult and risky construction. The project completed the contract milestone ahead of schedule, demonstrated Chinese technology, Chinese speed and Chinese quality, and won high recognition from the Israeli employer and the community.

It is reported that the Tel Aviv Red Line is the first light rail line in the urban rail transit plan. It is 23.5 kilometers in length and across the most densely populated and busiest downtown area of the city. It is scheduled to be officially opened by the end of 2021.
